Festival to provide environmental awareness

The Go Green Festival has announced a two-day event envisaged to transform Maseru Club into a hub of environmental awareness and cultural celebration of 200 years of the Basotho Nation. 

The event is scheduled for November 29-30.

Organisers say the festival is set to bring together a diverse line-up of local and international artists, eco-friendly marketplaces, and educational workshops all under the theme “Harmony with Nature: Music, Arts and Sustainability.”

“The Lesotho Go Green Festival is more than just an event, it is a movement.  It calls for unity in the face of global environmental challenges and empowers individuals to take positive action.

“The festival aims to inspire through music and arts while providing practical solutions for a sustainable lifestyle,” the organisers said in a recent statement.

The annual event also seeks to promotesustainability and eco-awareness and willfeature exhibits and a marketplace with eco-friendly products, fostering environmental stewardship and cultural engagement in the community.
