The final leg of the two-day Basotho Mega Music Festival at the Setsoto stadium was briefly interrupted by a hail storm yesterday.
In a statement, the director of the show, TṥokoloMakeka, said the storm which hit Maseru city around 15:30 caused some damage to the stage, leading to a temporary halt of the event.
“The scaffold structure was affected and resulted in the collapse of the upper cover of the stage. Fortunately, there were no injuries nor damage to property,” Makekanoted, adding the show continued soon after.
