BEDCO, RSL to train youth entrepreneurs

The Basotho Enterprises Development Corporation (BEDCO) in partnership with Revenue Services Lesotho ( RSL), and Standard Lesotho Bank will officially open the Bacha Entrepreneurship Project ( BEP) training this week in Maseru.
The project supports unemployed Basotho youth (ages 21-35) by providing them with the skills, training, and seed funding to become entrepreneurs, create jobs, and contribute to Lesotho’s economic growth.
The key aspect of BEP is to empower unemployed youth to become job creators rather than job seekers by fostering entrepreneurship and innovation.
The project has selected the top 50 applicants, who will undergo a skills training programme from the September 8-15.
