Queen ‘Mamohato Memorial Hospital has temporarily suspended Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan services, to allow for scheduled maintenance.
In a public notice today, the hospital said the work began yesterday and ends on Friday this week.
“All patients who were scheduled to come for MRI scan appointments on those dates are being informed about this service interruption,” it noted.
MRI is a medical scan that uses strong magnets and radio waves to create detailed images of organs and tissues inside the body. It is commonly used to diagnose conditions affecting the brain, spine, joints, and other internal organs.
