MCST three-year strategic plan launched

The Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology (MCST) yesterday launched its ministerial strategic plan 2020/21-22/23 at ‘Manthabiseng Convention Centre.

The aim of the strategic plan, among others, is to provide insights and solutions to the acceleration of the innovation, productivity and creation of jobs in the country as it also promotes the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR).

The strategic plan was prepared by the department of planning in the ministry.

Speaking at the launch, minister Thesele Maseribane stated that relevant stakeholders and their ideas were incorporated in the strategic plan so they need to see that their input mattered.

Maseribane further stated that the world is in the 4IR which comprises of connected services, devices and products and that has changed how people work and how they are governed.
