The UN Technology Bank and the Network of African Science Academies have teamed up to support the launch of the Lesotho Academy of Science and Technology, later this month.
The UN Technology Bank is a global organization dedicated to enhancing the contribution of science, technology and innovation for sustainable development in the world’s least developed countries.
It plays a critical role in advising governments on science, technology and innovation policy development and implementation to address socio-economic challenges and promote development.
Since 2019, the Technology Bank has conducted five regional consultations, four in Africa and one in Asia.
