FNB scoops four awards

By Kefiloe Kajane

First National Bank (FNB) Lesotho this week scooped four Diamond Arrow Awards at the Professional Market Research (PMR) Awards held in Maseru.

PMR Africa awards recognise excellence in corporates which are evaluated against set attributes by their clients through an annual survey.

The FNB chief executive officer, Delekazi Mokebe, thanked Basotho for voting for the Bank. She said to receive four Diamonds Arrow Awards from PMR and being the highest rated in their sector especially during this uncertain times of Covid-19, was prove of the bank’s resilience.

“I must admit that the past year has been difficult. It has not been easy at all but we have been resilient and we have placed our customers at the centre of our operations to ensure that they continue to receive the services that they need. This is only the beginning of greater things to come. At FNB Lesotho, we are committed to bringing innovative financial solutions which places clients at the centre of everything that we do.

“We are committed to the growth of Lesotho as a nation and we would really like to invite all our peers to bring a lasting change to Lesotho. Here are the awards and we celebrate you FNB Lesotho and Basotho for being a great nation,” she said.

PMR Africa’s chief executive officer, Johan Hattingh, said the awards are a good reference point for corporates when marketing their services.

He indicated that the biggest benefit is to use the awards for marketing purposes to promote their brand. He also indicated that the awards are based on the clients’ nominations through sending applications.
