A lover of fancy, classic and beautiful things, Kananelo Mosoeu started House Of Eats in February 2021 inspired by her love for fine dining.
House of Eats does premium styled graze boxes, variety treats boxes, kids party boxes, care packages, corporate graze boxes, gifts and snack boxes.
Mosoeu said the concept all started a week before Valentine’s Day because she wanted to appreciate casual dining. She therefore began with treat boxes for friends and some people who wanted to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
However, the 23-year old lady realised the concept is pretty cool so she continued with variety of treat boxes and corporate gaze boxes.
In an interview with the publication this week, the Ha Nqabene in Butha Buthe district born explained that she came up with the name House Of Eats in 2019 because she always dreamed of having a three-in-one restaurant that will do fine dining, have a café and do smoothies.
She dreams of House of Eats to grow to the point where it does events and décor as well as to do individual and corporate conferences treat boxes.
“We want to have our own place, where we take orders for gifts, snack boxes and treat boxes because currently I work alone with assistance of my little cousin.
“My different packaging of boxes I obtain from Pinterest and with the little money I make, I would like assistance when it comes to branding.
She observed that the main problem she has encountered is branding explaining that she has always wanted to do “branding for my business because I have learnt that people take business seriously when they are branded.”
She said the funds would not accommodate for her to have a branded business.
“I would like help with funding, branding visibility so that more people know about House Of Eats,” she explained.
She disclosed that what stands out about House Of Eats is that it caters for the needs of its clients and makes sure that they are premium styled.
House Of Eats also makes sure that it caters for its clients depending on their budget but also looking at their nutritional goals.
