Putsoa trots into design

By Neo Kolane

An unquenchable thirst for beautiful and attractive creations is what led Hlompho Putsoa to delve into the interior design trade and ultimately set up her own business called Enigma of Beauty Interior.

The fledgling interior design business was founded in May 2021 inspired by Putsoa’s burning thirst for design although she is not a fashion designer.

In yesterday’s interview with theReporter, Putsoa explained that Enigma Beauty of Interior does not do normal standard design found in most furniture shops in Lesotho. She only opts for a specially customised furniture make.

Her raw materials are imported from South Africa’s Gauteng province.

A wide spectrum of experience found in her staff helps her produce furniture sought by the customers.

“Enigma Beauty of Interior specialises in upholstery which is the work of providing furniture, especially seats, with padding, springs, webbing, and fabric or leather covers. We do interior décor, give advices to people who want to change the interior design of their houses and we also manufacture tables and chairs,” she said.

Putsoa described the interior design as highly important because it allows customers to feel comfortable in the homes.

Putsoa is also known for her booming flower shop opened in 2014 after many years of arranging flowers with her mother at her young age.

She went on to study events management at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. Her aim was to sharpen her communication skills and improve herself all around.

“It is very important to always explore into new things one is in business,” Putsoa argued.

Enigma of Beauty Interior is located at Mohalalitoe next to Phethahatso Primary School in Maseru.

Enigma of Beauty Interior can be contacted on 62009225.
