Isuzu coming to Lesotho

By Neo Kolane

The Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC), in partnership with Isuzu Motors South Africa and Zakhura Motor Group (ZMG), will on August 2, 2023 host a sod turning event in preparation for the establishment of an Isuzu dealership in the country.

This comes after the LNDC last month called for expression of interest to invest in, manage and operate an Isuzu commercial dealership in Lesotho.

ZMG was selected as the preferred bidder following a thorough evaluation and due diligence process in partnership with Isuzu Motors South Africa.

The president of Isuzu Motors South Africa, Billy Tom, said the sod turning is testament to his company’s commitment to grow their business throughout Africa while building strong and sustainable relationships.

“Isuzu prides itself in assembling vehicles for Africa by Africans to benefit the development of our economy and neighbouring countries,” he noted.
