DMA to host National Climate Outlook Forum

The Disaster Management Authority (DMA), in collaboration with the Lesotho Meteorological Services, will tommorow host a National Climate Outlook Forum.
The forum aims to provide stakeholders with the latest seasonal climate forecast for Lesotho and to facilitate discussions on possible implications for each sector.
According to DMA, the meeting will also focus on necessary anticipatory actions and preparedness measures ahead of the coming season.
Invited participants include Government Ministries, UN agencies, the donor community, NGOs, the private sector.
DMA says the forum is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen early warning systems and ensure coordinated planning across sectors in response to climate variability.
