Government will hold a national prayer on Wednesday this week as part of celebrations marking Lesotho’s 60th Independence anniversary.
Organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture, the session will begin with a walk from the New Parliament to the Old Parliament at 8am. It will be held under the theme: ‘National Colours’.
Besides celebrating the country’s Independence, the prayer also aims to promote peace, unity and national pride among Basotho.
