Econet Telecom Lesotho will showcase artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies at its fourth Econet Expo, scheduled for October 27 to 30 at Maseru Mall.
To be held under the theme “Think AI. Think Econet,” the exhibition will feature robotics, virtual reality, gaming, smart home solutions and the launch of Apple’s iPhone 18.
Acting general manager for Marketing Communications and Customer Experience, Puleng Masoabi, said Econet aimed to expand access to AI through EcoAI, its platform supporting English and Sesotho, with payments via airtime and EcoCash.
