President Duma Gideon Boko of Botswana is in Lesotho on Tuesday on a three-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

His visit will feature a series of high-level engagements, including the signing of a Bi-National Commission Agreement.

He later paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Ntsokoane Matekane at State House, where the two leaders signed the landmark Bi-National Commission of Cooperation.

The day also included an official lunch hosted by the Prime Minister in President Boko’s honour.

Later in the afternoon, the visiting head of state toured the Ha Tikoe Industrial Park. His itinerary will further include a visit to the Lesotho-Botswana Water Transfer Project site and participation in King Letsie III’s birthday celebrations.
