Security company BB Alert yesterday donated food parcels and toiletries to St. Angela Cheshire Home.
The community-based organisation currently provides shelter to 35 children with disabilities. The goal is to improve the quality of their lives through rehabilitation and support services.
In an interview with theReporter, Nkotseng Moleko of BB Alert said the company started donating to the centre in 2009.
“As part of strengthening our relationship with the centre, we also plan to provide some of the children with skills with a view to employ them,” Moleko noted.
The director of the centre, Sister Regina Ntisa, said BB Alert is one of the companies helping them with their needs.
This is the second time they receive food parcels from BB Alert this year, she indicated.
“I have nothing much to say except to thank BB Alert. We ask God to give them strength to assist more disability centres across the country,” Ntisa added.
