Water and Sewage Company (WASCO), in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources, will launch the Mafeteng Drought Relief Project on Friday this week.
The launch will be led by the Minister of Natural Resources, Mohlomi Moleko.
A key highlight of the project is the dredging of RasebalaDam, aimed at restoring its storage capacity and strengthening water supply to Mafeteng and surrounding communities.
The initiative marks an important step towards improving water security, and strengthening communities’ resilience to drought.
Through this intervention, WASCO and the Ministry reaffirm their commitment to sustainable water management and a more water-secure future for the people of Mafeteng.
